Dear all,

St Nicholas’s Church can be dated to 1125 AD and this year we are celebrating 'Newnham 900'.

Following a public gathering of residents back in the Autumn, the collective view was that it would be great to mark the occasion and celebrate the history and heritage of the village.  It's a perfect opportunity to bring people together and hopefully help build a stronger community.

The main event on the Green will now be in the afternoon of Saturday 20 September followed by a Medieval Banquet (a ticketed event catered by the Old House at Home).  We would love for as many people as possible from the local community to attend and we would be grateful if you could complete our survey which you can access from the link below (it should only take a couple of minutes):

On Sunday, 15th June 2025 there will then be a Service at 3pm at St.Nicholas's Church with the Bishop of Winchester (followed by tea and cake).

Also a commemorative walk from Hook to St Nicholas'.
